Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Crigglestone

Rinaldi Ristorante

Sandal Castle Centre, Asdale Rd, Wakefield WF2 7JE, UK – 01924 256711

I'd describe this as a good restaurant but for some indefinable reason not an excellent restaurant. I've been twice for various celebrations and my advice would be don't go on a Saturday night as it was very busy and you can't book a table. Waits can be long. Also the bar seems to be.a starting point for people's Saturday night out and the is no separation from the restaurant so it's LOUD. Saturday afternoon is a different matter. Quieter with the chance of some pleasant conversation without shouting. The food whilst tasty seemed a bit hit and miss. My wife had a lasagna which was so runny it was like soup but it was tasty. I had beef pie off the specials menu and it was over salted. Not bad value though.

Outstanding food. Great service at a great price. Been a regular at Rinaldis for years never had a bad meal. Highly recommend. The fillet steak is the best I've ever had.

Ego at The Bull's Head, Horbury

Southfield Ln, Horbury, Wakefield WF4 5AS, UK – 01924 265828

Brilliant. It's been refurbished to a very standard. Lovely atmosphere busy but didn't feel busy. Staff really lovely and the food was just as good. Couldn't find fault with anything, not that I was trying to find fault. Just a lovely place to celebrate my Dads 75th birthday. Thank you.

Love this place... each time we go have a great time with welcoming staff, gorgeous food and superb atmosphere... see you again at the weekend

La Fortezza

Fantastic food and great prices. Friendly service and very accommodating for our 9 month old.

Lovely quaint little cafe in a romantic setting. Great service, great food. Parking close by and some pubs for drinks after. Definitely need to be dressed up to go here, and the place is just lovely
