I'd describe this as a good restaurant but for some indefinable reason not an excellent restaurant. I've been twice for various celebrations and my advice would be don't go on a Saturday night as it was very busy and you can't book a table. Waits can be long. Also the bar seems to be.a starting point for people's Saturday night out and the is no separation from the restaurant so it's LOUD. Saturday afternoon is a different matter. Quieter with the chance of some pleasant conversation without shouting. The food whilst tasty seemed a bit hit and miss. My wife had a lasagna which was so runny it was like soup but it was tasty. I had beef pie off the specials menu and it was over salted. Not bad value though.
Very tasty Italian food at reasonable prices, good, friendly service. The booths on the upper level are great but the tables for two are too close together. We still eat there regularly.

Lovely quaint little cafe in a romantic setting. Great service, great food. Parking close by and some pubs for drinks after. Definitely need to be dressed up to go here, and the place is just lovely
Lovely place, staff were excellent, food was fantastic with great portions too. Definitely going back again.

We visited ego today as a big group of around 30 people including kids, we had the private dining area. Food was very nice but the main reason for my review is our waitress Sue! If you had waitresses like this lady everywhere you ate then you would you always have a pleasant experience, I cannot praise her enough, she was helpful, polite and very professional, I never write reviews and eat out a hell of a lot but she made a real impression on me I felt I had to! So thankyou Sue 👍👍
Top notch cuisine in a friendly setting. excellent staff and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Moroccan lamb tagine recommended.
