Rinaldi Ristorante

Sandal Castle Centre, Asdale Rd, Wakefield WF2 7JE, UK – 01924 256711

Loved the food, loved the people and loved the place! Was made to feel extremely welcome by the cheerful and friendly staff. Even though it was a Friday lunchtime it was still extremely busy. I would therefore recommend booking in advance. Our party had a variety of dishes from pasta, pizza to fish and everyone rated it highly. Top quality food and restaurant.

Came here with my girlfriend and her son, the atmosphere of the place feels very forced as the furniture and even the lighting gives the impression it's a fancy establishment, however the waiters seemed very on edge to serve us and at times, one even felt like a prison warden when she was walking about checking tables. In terms of food it's good but it's nothing a Tesco ready meal could of beat. Both me and my girlfriend agreed we felt uncomfortable there and food was very average. I don't want to sound as I'm complaining, it's just my honest opinion. This place just served average food and customer service slightly below average.

La Fortezza

675 Barnsley Rd, Newmillerdam, Wakefield WF2 6QQ, UK – 01924 242266

Second time in a month, and just as good as the first. Really Impressed by the gent who was polishing the display area and coffee prep areas until they shone like new pins. So meticulous! Food and service brilliant at a competitive cost. Won't be long before we are back.

Amazing! It’s like a little castle and that became dilapidated and then turned into an authentic Italian restaurant. It even has a tree in the middle of the cosy little eatery. The food is amazing and atmosphere intimate. A lovely little gem well worth a visit.
